Tem experiência nas áreas de Limnologia, Microbiologia e Biologia Molecular, atuando principalmente nos seguintes temas: qualidade da água, monitoramento de recursos hídricos, comunidade fitoplanctônica, produção primária do fitoplâncton, pigmentos fitoplanctônicos, cianobactérias e cianotoxinas.
