Bachelor's degree in Physical Education from UNIPAR (2007), master's degree in Physical Education from the School of Physical Education - UNICAMP (2012), and PhD in Sciences/Child and Adolescent Health from the School of Medical Sciences - UNICAMP (2016). Completed a Doctoral Internship at the Department of Kinesiology - Mississippi State University (CAPES Sandwich, 2015-2016). Completed post-doctoral research at 1) the School of Medical Sciences (UNICAMP/FAPESP, 2018-2022), 2) the School of Health Professions/Exercise Neuroscience Research Lab/Department of Physical Therapy - University of Alabama at Birmingham/Lakeshore Research Collaborative (BEPE/FAPESP, 2019-2020), and 3) the School of Medicine of Ribeirão Preto at the University of São Paulo (USP/FAPESP, 2022-2023). Served as a scientific advisor to the Federation of APAEs of the State of São Paulo (FEAPAES-SP, 2013-2017). Visiting Researcher at the Department of Physical Therapy - Wichita State University (2015-2022) and served as a Co-advisor for Master's and PhD programs in the Child and Adolescent Health Graduate Program at UNICAMP (2023). Coordinated the development of Brazilian growth references for Down syndrome, the Scientific Committee of the APAE Quality of Life and Health Program, and the Multicenter Project on Motor Competence for Intellectual Disabilities and Down Syndrome in Brazil and the United States. Serves as a Reviewer for Specialized Journals in Intellectual Disability and Developmental Disabilities: 1) Adapted Physical Activity Quarterly, 2) Research in Developmental Disabilities, 3) Journal of Applied Research in Intellectual Disabilities, and 4) Journal of Intellectual Disability Research. Conducts research in the following areas: Down syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities, Health, Equity, Linear Growth, Body Composition, Motor Competence, Fitness, and Physical Activity. Currently, I am the lead researcher of the Research Project, São Paulo T21 Birth Cohort Study: longitudinal study of health and development of children with Down syndrome in the city of São Paulo, Research Grant Young Investigator FAPESP/Instituto Jô Clemente.
